Wonderful One Day Trip: Trong ⇨ Taiping ⇨ Kuala Sepetang

Starting your day with a good breakfast is one of the best health decisions you can make
A breakfast set in D'Fat Mona Lisa cafe is the best choice for you which costs only RM7.30 with free flow of coffee and tea.
The breakfast set menu comes with choices of: Egg & toast, French Toast, Morning Delight and Nasi Lemak.

After having the wonderful breakfast, we moved to Trong Leisure Farm and Resort. It was great to have a look on the amazing creature from God although it was my fifth time visiting the farm. :P

(Ps: This photo was taken in another trip)

Oh it's time to fill our stomach!! We had our simple buffet lunch at Sentosa Villa, a nice place to hold a gathering. The double-storey hotel room and the environment are great!

Before leaving Taiping, we headed to Antong coffee factory to explore. We had free sample testing there. The iced honey lemon is just nice!

The first station in Kuala Sepetang was the charcoal factory. I focused on taking photos because I have heard the explanation for many times already hehe :P

It's fun to have a boat ride in a big motor boat.

We had the opportunity to have a eagle viewing and Kuala Sangga exploring.

We visited to the fish farm too and saw this cute little creature!

That's all for the boat ride. It is sad that we did not have the chance to meet the dolphin.

Before going back, we had a wonderful seafood dinner in Kuala Sepetang.

I love to spend my time together with brothers and sisters in Christ. In Jesus Christ, we are one family!

Special Dinner: Nasi 7 Benua

Have you tried colourful rice before?
Yes, I had a good try on 07.01.2016!
Let me tell you a secret...
Both 'air sirap' and 'teh o ais' in the restaurant is free of charge! Grab your opportunity! Hehe
The seven flavours of rice are Nasi Putih, Nasi Lemak, Nasi Tomato, Nasi Lamuni, Nasi Minyak, Nasi Kacang and Nasi Hujan Panas.
I love Nasi Minyak as it is made of Kunyit.

We were watching the scooping process done by the workers. They used a small tea cup to scoop it.

After taking your rice, you can choose your dishes such as fried chickens, anchovies and others.
Just like an economy rice style!
I chose a piece of 'ayam kicap', some anchoives and a dried tofu.
Anyway, the taste is not bad! You can have a try on it when you are searching for Penang special food.

Meaningful 2 Days 1 Night Trip: Songkhla ⇨ Hatyai ⇨ Dannok

It was meaningful as this trip included my family, grandma, auntie, cousins and a friend.
So, 6.00am early in the morning of the first day, we gathered at grandma's house and departed to Thailand by a van. The driver was nice and full of patience. As it was still early, all of us took a nice nap during the journey.

At around 10.00am, we reached Hatyai. After fetching the tour guide, we decided to change RM to Baht at the money changer counter opposite Pink Lady Complex as the rate is more reasonable.

Then, we headed to Songkhla. The journey took about one and a half hour.
The first thing to do was having lunch. The tour guide introduced us Hainan chicken rice there.

However, the chicken rice is not recommended. The portion is small but the price is high.
After that, we went to the famous Samila Beach.
The beach is full of legends.  It covers the story of a dog, a cat and a mouse and also the story of the mermaid.  The tour guide told us all the stories patiently.
We took a photo with the mermaid statue. We found that the beach is amazed with the black rocks.

Yay!

We grabbed a coconut ice cream. It is special with the sticky rice in it.

Cat and rat statue.

Elephant riding and feeding at Chang Puak Camp.

We were tired and hungry at that moment.
So, we went to Bon Khao Restaurant on the hill to have our lunch.

The atmosphere there was good but the portion of food is quite small.
After that, we finally went back to Hatyai and checked in to our hotel.

We found that Central Festival mall provides free shuttle buses (Tuk Tuk Car actually) from our hotel to the mall. Of course, we cherished this opportunity as our driver was off duty that time.

In the mall, I grabbed lots of special snacks! Yummy!

I found that a corner was decorated with Snoopies!! I quickly took some photos with them. Don't you see I was also wearing a T-shirt with printed Snoopy?

At around 9.00pm, we left Central Festival mall. Well, it was not the end of our journey.
The next station was Pasar Malam! Variety of foods came through my mind! Yum~ We continued to fill our stomach.
At around 12.00 midnight, we went back to the hotel and took a rest. Zzz

The next morning, we had our Dim Sum breakfast!
I would like to recommend this place. The price is so reasonable and the taste is so yummy!
Look at our gigantic appetite~

Next, we went to Chakkraphan market!
My sister bought a school bag which I wished to have for a long time. Urgh! I had already graduated..
Nevermind, I can buy other things! Hmm
At noon, we checked out the hotel and had our Buffet lunch at 33rd floor, Lee Garden hotel before we headed to Dannok.
Never miss out the buffet lunch once you visit to Hatyai! The price is 169 baht per person and you can have lots of food. Eat as much as you can!

We chose the seat with panaromic view. We can see almost the whole town view of Hatyai.

We reached Dannok in the afternoon. It is famous of the Asia Cultural Village.
Surprisingly, there was not much people on that day. There were many places to visit.

We took photos with pandas :P My father likes to immitate the pandas' action.

The Tuk Tuk Car driver of the village offered to fetch us for a "round village ride". Awww, the village is creatively designed. Hmm, my family was planning to have a stay here. Do you see the containers? They are actually the hotel chalets.
I have the chance to be the Cinderella. Where's my prince? Hmm...
Lastly, we had our dinner at Water View Restaurant. It is a good place to have your meal. It is famous with the wonderful view and wonderful service.

This was the place where we had our dinner.

It is well known by using motor boats to serve the dishes!!
The night view of the restaurant.

It is time to say goodbye to Thailand. Thank God for having this amazing trip. It improves our family relationship. We enjoyed and explored His creatures. Thailand is really a nice place to visit.

That's part of life about me, Lydia~
