Meaningful 2 Days 1 Night Trip: Songkhla ⇨ Hatyai ⇨ Dannok

It was meaningful as this trip included my family, grandma, auntie, cousins and a friend.
So, 6.00am early in the morning of the first day, we gathered at grandma's house and departed to Thailand by a van. The driver was nice and full of patience. As it was still early, all of us took a nice nap during the journey.

At around 10.00am, we reached Hatyai. After fetching the tour guide, we decided to change RM to Baht at the money changer counter opposite Pink Lady Complex as the rate is more reasonable.

Then, we headed to Songkhla. The journey took about one and a half hour.
The first thing to do was having lunch. The tour guide introduced us Hainan chicken rice there.

However, the chicken rice is not recommended. The portion is small but the price is high.
After that, we went to the famous Samila Beach.
The beach is full of legends.  It covers the story of a dog, a cat and a mouse and also the story of the mermaid.  The tour guide told us all the stories patiently.
We took a photo with the mermaid statue. We found that the beach is amazed with the black rocks.

Yay!

We grabbed a coconut ice cream. It is special with the sticky rice in it.

Cat and rat statue.

Elephant riding and feeding at Chang Puak Camp.

We were tired and hungry at that moment.
So, we went to Bon Khao Restaurant on the hill to have our lunch.

The atmosphere there was good but the portion of food is quite small.
After that, we finally went back to Hatyai and checked in to our hotel.

We found that Central Festival mall provides free shuttle buses (Tuk Tuk Car actually) from our hotel to the mall. Of course, we cherished this opportunity as our driver was off duty that time.

In the mall, I grabbed lots of special snacks! Yummy!

I found that a corner was decorated with Snoopies!! I quickly took some photos with them. Don't you see I was also wearing a T-shirt with printed Snoopy?

At around 9.00pm, we left Central Festival mall. Well, it was not the end of our journey.
The next station was Pasar Malam! Variety of foods came through my mind! Yum~ We continued to fill our stomach.
At around 12.00 midnight, we went back to the hotel and took a rest. Zzz

The next morning, we had our Dim Sum breakfast!
I would like to recommend this place. The price is so reasonable and the taste is so yummy!
Look at our gigantic appetite~

Next, we went to Chakkraphan market!
My sister bought a school bag which I wished to have for a long time. Urgh! I had already graduated..
Nevermind, I can buy other things! Hmm
At noon, we checked out the hotel and had our Buffet lunch at 33rd floor, Lee Garden hotel before we headed to Dannok.
Never miss out the buffet lunch once you visit to Hatyai! The price is 169 baht per person and you can have lots of food. Eat as much as you can!

We chose the seat with panaromic view. We can see almost the whole town view of Hatyai.

We reached Dannok in the afternoon. It is famous of the Asia Cultural Village.
Surprisingly, there was not much people on that day. There were many places to visit.

We took photos with pandas :P My father likes to immitate the pandas' action.

The Tuk Tuk Car driver of the village offered to fetch us for a "round village ride". Awww, the village is creatively designed. Hmm, my family was planning to have a stay here. Do you see the containers? They are actually the hotel chalets.
I have the chance to be the Cinderella. Where's my prince? Hmm...
Lastly, we had our dinner at Water View Restaurant. It is a good place to have your meal. It is famous with the wonderful view and wonderful service.

This was the place where we had our dinner.

It is well known by using motor boats to serve the dishes!!
The night view of the restaurant.

It is time to say goodbye to Thailand. Thank God for having this amazing trip. It improves our family relationship. We enjoyed and explored His creatures. Thailand is really a nice place to visit.

That's part of life about me, Lydia~
